How Does It Work?

The SRS Data Logger module (DL-1) is connected to your repeater's COR (COS) signal.  When a signal is present the COR signal usually goes to ground.  We sense the the COR signal going to ground and releasing from ground when the incoming signal unkeys.
We log the date and time of the keykup and the unkey.  That information is sent to the RepeaterBook server over the internet.

How do I connect the Data Logger hardware to the internet?
The Data Logger is connected by WiFi.  When you first boot the Data Logger, you enter your routers SSID and network password.  When you reboot the Data Logger, you will be connected to the router and the RepeaterBook servers.

What Can I monitor?
In addition to the COR activity events, the Data Logger can also measure one DC voltage from 0-60 volts and one temperature using a cable mounted digital temperature probe.  The Data Logger also pings the RepeaterBook server every minute so you know if your repeater is currently connected to the servers.

How can I see the results?
The activity and sensor data is available on the RepeaterBook web site and available for downloading.

Is my data public?
You can choose to show your keyup or any other logged data on the RepeaterBook web site or you can store that data privately and you are the only person that can view the data.

How much does this cost and when can I get it?
The SRS Data Logger for project Argus is $159.  The Dayton Hamvention promotional price is $129.
Digital temperature sensors are available separately for $10.
The SRS Data Logger comes with an insulating base plate that is compatible with DIN rail mounting hardware.
After Hamvention 2026, the Data Logger hardware will be available on the Sierra Radio Systems web site store at sierraradio.net
You will also need a subscription to the RepeaterBook Vista service.  More details can be found on the RepeaterBook web site.
