40m Add-On Wire Elements (2x 16') With Wire Winder for the linked dipole. This makes the dipole a 20m and 40m antenna.
THIS SET OF WIRE ELEMENTS ARE TUNED FOR THE HIGH END OF THE 40M BAND.
This means they will work fine connected to the dipole's 20m elements to make a 40m dipole and can be used without a tuner.
If you plan to use the add-on elements at the low end of 40m, they will work fine but you may need a tuner or add some length of wire to the ends. Just plug in a short piece of wire using a 2mm banana plug in to the supplied socket. About 6-12" should work on both ends.
