#310 Raspberry Pi Host Adapter with RPI and SD Card
Complete Raspberry Pi Module including the host adapter board, Raspberry Pi 3, SD card with the latest Node Red Station Controller flow and Raspberry PI OS installed and configured. This solution works "out of the box". Just connect the control modules by CAT6 cables and power up the Raspberry Pi module and your station controller is up and running.
The Station Controller RPI host adapter requires 11-16 VDC supplied to either the PowerPole or 2.1mm DC barrel jack. This will power the Raspberry Pi module and all other modules connected by CAT6 cables.
The RPI module can accept an optional Heltec v3 LoRa radio module if you would like to control remote modules over the air. This is not required for full Station Control operation.
Updates and enhancements to the Node Red dashboard flow are available for download from the Sierra Radio web site.

#321 General Purpose I/O Module (GPIO1)
Genera Purpose I/O controllers features 18 I/O channels to control and monitor a variety of signals. The I/O includes:
- 4x 0-50 Volt DC volt meters, ground referenced.
- 4x SPST built in relays up to 2A
- 4x Open collector outputs for external 12 relays or "pull to ground" activated devices
- 4x Optoisolated digital inputs for door alarms, band decoders, etc.
- 2x Digital temperature probes available on 3' and 6' cables.
The GPIO module is the heart of any remote station typically used to turn station power on/off, measure critical voltages and temperatures, and control other devices.
#331 4 Port HF/6m Coax Relay Module (CX-1)
The CX-1 Remote Coax Switch Module is designed to switch 1 radio to 4 antennas or 1 antenna to 4 radios. The intended frequency range is 1 to 60 MHz covering 160m to 6m. Performance at 2m is lower but still usable for some applications.
Maximum power rating is 100 watts.
Insertion on the HF bands is less than 0.05 dB. Port isolation is between 53 and 65 dB across the HF band.
The CX-1 uses latching relays which will leave the switch in the last position even if power is removed from the module. When switching, the current connection is released for 500ms than the new connection is made. ("Break before make")
The built in firmware prevents any two relays from being active at the same time. All relays, however may be put into the disconnected state.
The terminal block on the top of the module also provides 4 momentary pull to ground inputs to allow the use of external mechanical pushbuttons or electronic switching to select the active port.
Multiple coax switch boards can be used together to switch more antennas or radios. A common configuration might be two modules with the common port bridged allowing the selection of 4 radios to 4 antennas, one pair at a time.
#335 2 Port RF Watt Meter Module (WM-1)
The WM-1 2 port RF watt meter control module supports 1 or 2 active RF power monitoring sensors. Forward and reflected power is measured and reported to the dashboard. Multiple modes supported include: periodic measurements, streaming data with < 1 second refresh rate, remote repeater keying and monitoring.
The WM-1 requires at least one RF sensor (directional coupler) supplied by the company WaveNode. Modules supported include: HF-1, LP-1, and UHF-1. You must purchase the RF sensor module directly from WaveNode at https://wavenodedevelop.com
The control module supports two RF modules. Any combination of HF and VHF/UHF modules can be used at the same time.
The Station Controller will poll the watt meter modules and update the dashboard. You can also trigger a power measurement any time from the dashboard.
For repeater deployments, the watt meter module also support external PTT indicate input and external PTT output to determine if the transmitter is in active transmit mode when power is measured and the ability to key the transmitter for testing when there is no traffic on the repeater.
